Alloway is a full-service environmental laboratory specializing in analyses on drinking water, wastewater, and solid and hazardous waste. In addition, Alloway offers innovative software, laboratory development, and training options. With three locations in Ohio and more than 35 years of experience, Alloway is a well-established resource for defensible data.  

Alloway is now hiring a Field Technician at their Lima Laboratory. This will be a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. 

Position Summary:

• Perform field measurements such as pH, flow determinations, dissolved oxygen , temperature, etc.    
• Courier duties involving pick-up and bottle delivery for  customer samples, transporting samples between facilities Requires lifting of coolers and automatic samplers containing water samples   
• Assist with sample receipt  

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds to perform the requirements of this job   

   

   

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED   

   

Experience:

• Preferred but not required  

• Must have excellent customer service skills, good driving record, and be eligible for auto insurance coverage  

   

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
