JOB SUMMARY
Motivated, driven individual that will be of a member of our ROS Firmware team in developing, debugging, and supporting solutions used to collect, maintain, digest, interpret, and present data collected in a Retail environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understanding of and familiarity of mechanical, electrical, imaging and mechatronic systems involved In AMR operation
Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly-changing work environment
Experience with systemd
Experience with Python and C programming
Familiar with various Linux tools (NetworkManager, OpenVpn, tmux, salt, Yocto)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REOUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Professional Engineer
Experience with ROS is required
Familiarity with multiple types of environmental sensing devices such as LIDAR, RGB cameras, human detection cameras, etc. is required
Specific requirements as defined by the market sector
