Vivint Fleet Administrator in Lehi, Utah

Summary:

We are looking for an ambitious and strongly analytical team member to assist our Indirect Operations team. This position will work with Fleet Manager, Fleet Administrator, Procurement leadership, Supply Chain leadership, Risk leadership, Safety leadership, and Field Service Leadership.

Employees will help lead and motivate the Fleet team and plan and execute best practices regarding fleet vehicle management. It is expected that the candidate will be the key decision maker for vehicle movement decisions, vehicle repair decisions, and registration compliance. The employee will also manage requests and questions through our ticket queue from our Field drivers and leadership. Additionally, this individual will work together with fleet suppliers and will need to leverage their support at every opportunity . The candidate will use Excel and supplier systems extensively to process, research, and act on tasks . This person must be able to communicate effectively with multiple layers of leadership with clear and concise language.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Manage vehicle utilization .

  • Make vehicle repair decisions using standard calculations and logic when the decision has been escalated to Vivint Fleet by our fleet management partner.

  • Work with our fleet management partner and Field leadership to ensure registrations of all vehicles are up to date to ensure a positive experience for our drivers.

  • Quickly and effectively respond to questions and requests from the Field via our ticket queue and email. This could also include working with the field on the phone.

  • Support the fleet’s safety culture by providing training when requested .

  • Actively seek ways to reduce the administrative load of the Fleet Team so more time can be spent on cost-out and optimization activities.

  • Communicate with contracted suppliers on a regular basis to leverage their support. Support the Fleet Manager in holding suppliers accountable.

  • Communicate effectively between cross-functional teams and leadership.

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Maintain and create standard operating procedures for role, including standard works, roles and responsibilities, and Standard Operating Procedures.

    Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, including problem-solving, team motivation, and project management.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables/functions/data filtering).

  • Problem-solving experience, including identifying an issue, implementing a course of action, and seeing it through to completion.

  • Growth- mindset, learning attitude, and cultivation of curiosity.

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks on a short- and long-term basis.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, employees, management, and field service employees.

  • Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Time management, Organization, Strong analytical skills, Decision making, and outstanding problem solver. Strong relationship skills. Responsiveness

  • Ability to quickly learn new applications and processes.

    Required Experience:

  • 1-2 years of applicable business experience

  • Have prior experience with fleet management systems and/or processes.

  • Some college experience.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
