Description
Expertise and Functions: Develop production and inventory management plans to support both material and finished good requirements Identify current and potential material shortages, develop and execute mitigation strategies, advise interested parties of status and recovery plans Oversee supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes Coordinate material movement between vendors, warehouse, and the production floor Assist in the implementation, analysis, and coordination of the master production schedule Set up and monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy Manage inventory levels to meet project requirements Coordinate and manage monthly cycle counts within the manufacturing warehouse Act as key participant in annual physical inventory Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy; investigate & reconcile discrepancies Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelor's Degree in management or other relevant discipline required Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Advanced experience with MRP/ERP systems such as JobBoss
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
