Actalent SMT Technician in Laurel, Maryland

Job Title: SMT TechnicianJob Description

As our SMT Technician, you will be responsible for programming pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens to support the SMT process. Your role will also involve monitoring SMT machines during production and making necessary adjustments to maintain both quality and efficiency. You will be tasked with visually inspecting assembly for obvious damage, non-conformance, cleanliness, component mounting and installation, and soldering quality. Your role will also include completing data recording/reporting activities for manufacturing control processes and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. You will also be required to communicate and coordinate as necessary with other teams such as Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, etc.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Laurel, Maryland.

Work Environment

This position is located in an SMT Manufacturing environment. The work schedule includes 4-10 hour days from Monday to Thursday.
