DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Location: 715 Fountain Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601

Ecore has created a new position to support our growth. The new Master Data Manager role is a crucial role to ensure the uniformity, accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and relevancy of organization-wide data. You will be a trusted advisor and partner across all business units and functions in support of our Data Analytics and Digital Transformation. The Master Data Manager requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage with various business stakeholders. You will develop and implement a comprehensive Master Data strategy and plan, including the establishment of Master Data Management (MDM), Master Data Governance, Master Data Stewards, and Master Data Technology.

Core Contributions: * Strategic Planning - develop and execute a robust Master Data strategy aligned with organizational priorities and financial goals. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives. * Master Data Management (MDM) - implement and maintain MDM processes to ensure the uniformity and integrity of data. Drive standardization across transactional and analytical systems. Define and enforce data standards and guidelines across the organization. * Master Data Governance - establish and oversee Master Data Governance framework and policies. Work with cross-functional teams including Business Intelligence and IT teams to ensure that Master Data Management practices are governed and standardized across Ecore transactional and analytical systems. * Stakeholder Engagement - collaborate with business units to understand data needs and challenges. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with data strategies. * Master Data Stewardship - identify and designate Master Data Stewards within business units and functional areas. Provide training and support to Stewards, ensuring data quality and compliance. * Data Quality Assurance - develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring mechanisms. Address data quality issues promptly and drive continuous improvement. * Master Data Technology - evaluate, select, and implement Master Data Technologies for scalability. Work with IT teams to integrate MDM solutions with existing systems. * Documentation and Reporting - create and maintain documentation for Master Data processes and policies. Generate reports and insights related to data quality, governance, and compliance. Drive adoption of processes and tools relating to Master Data Change Management (e.g. Engineering Change Notification - ECN) across core enterprise systems. Establish metrics and align scorecards to raise the transparency of data quality across the enterprise.

Essential Experiences: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred * 10+ years of experience in Master Data Management and Governance * Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices * Experience with data management from modern and emerging technologies (IoT, Machine Learning, automation, orchestration, AI, etc.) is desired * Understanding core Data Domains, such as Product and Item, Bill of Materials and Routings, Customer and Supplier, Pricing * Experience developing Accounting Systems and Processes * Leadership experience in engaging and managing cross-functional teams
