Assistant Director (Quality Improvement)-24035

In the role of Assistant Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight on quality improvement work as needed. This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, experience with quality improvement methods, implementation science, and familiarity working with data and quality metrics, specifically. In this hands-on role, the Assistant Director will develop, design, implement and manage performance measurement and improvement projects; assist in the development of performance improvement strategies and their implementation, and develop techniques for evaluating the efficacy of interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles and techniques, including the PDSA cycle and intervention design.
  • Report-writing skills and experience delivering presentations.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate quality improvement data and methods to managed care staff with varying technical and clinical backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with clients, MCPs and internal staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet client deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Must have flexibility of work hours and ability to travel when needed.
  • Ability to work with PC-based computer software, especially Microsoft Office Suite products.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in nursing, public administration, public policy, public health, or a related program, required.
  • A Masters degree with an emphasis on quality improvement and//r use of clinical data (e.g., epidemiology, informatics, etc.), preferred.
  • Two (2) years of work experience (outside of schooling or clinical training) in health care quality improvement, public health, health services research or health outcomes research, required.

The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $95,000.00 $115,000.00. Actual salary depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location and budget. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
