Position Summary:

This is a Department of Nursing Service position that requires the delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. The primary duty is to facilitate and control Patient Flow Duties within the hospital, assuring that patients are moved efficiently to units assigned. This role supports and serves as CNO representative in the absence of the Nursing Administration. Completes required documentation and participates in discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree required
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Previous bed placement and house supervisor experience preferred
• Valid Arizona or Compact States nursing license required on hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire (If ACLS is current, BLS is not required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) with 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
• Moderate and Deep sedation preferred
