JOB REQUIREMENTS: Nurse Intern Performs delegated nursing and nursing-related duties under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in addition to performing Resident Care Assistant duties. Assures that all proper safety measures and body mechanics are followed in delivery of all care. Documents and reports all care given and relevant observations regarding the residents to the appropriate staff person. What You\'ll Do: - Performs Resident Care Assistant job duties, per attached RCA job description - Performs delegated nursing and nursing-related job duties, per attached LPN job description, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Tasks must be commensurate with education preparation and demonstrated abilities. May assist the RN in preparation or alteration of plan of care, but may not perform them in their entirety. (Nurse Intern may not perform functions of assessment and evaluation. Experience/Training: - Must be a nursing student who is either currently enrolled in a nursing program leading to registered nurse or practical nurse licensure, or has graduated from the program and does not hold a temporary permit, or who has been unsuccessful on the nursing licensure exam and is retaking the exam - Student nurse must have successfully completed a basic nursing course with a minimum of 32 hours of clinical experience through an accredited school for professional or licensed practical nurses - Must be CBRF qualified and show proof of inclusion on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry - May only work as Nurse Intern for up to 6 months from the date of graduation ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: www.eaglecrestlife.org
