Leads the training of current and future staff on new programs, assists in the development of efficiency and quality improvement initiatives, and co-design strategic resolutions aimed at producing proficient and cost effective results. The Lead HUC performs the duties and responsibilities of the HUC on a regular basis to maintain competency. The Lead HUC maintains proficiency in the use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to trouble shoot applications barriers and enhance growth and development within the Health Unit Coordinator role. Collaborates with the Clinical Manager to address and remove barriers in workflow design and applications. Major Responsibilities: 1. Fosters collaborative relationships in and between unit staff and management in order to enhance team effectiveness. 2. Assists in the review of HUC schedules and staffing. 3.
