KINGWOOD CAREGIVER Job Summary: The KINGWOOD CAREGIVER at Always Best Care Senior Services is responsible for providing compassionate and professional care to seniors living in the Kingswood community in Texas. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Kingswood, and the caregiver will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, personal care, and companionship for elderly individuals. The caregiver will provide support to seniors in their homes, allowing them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care and assistance to seniors, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and bathroom assistance - Companionship and conversation with clients, to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being - Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders - Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands and grocery shopping - Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the supervisor - Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for clients at all times - Provide emotional support and compassionate care to clients and their families - Maintain open and effective communication with clients and their families, as well as with the supervisor and team members - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a caregiving or senior care role - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to pass a background check  - Compassionate and caring attitude towards seniors - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes as needed EEOC statement: Always Best Care Senior Services is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
