Summary of Position

Responsible for maintaining the college’s degree audit system, which is critical in facilitating

academic advising, progress toward degree, and degree conferral. Provides administrative and technical support in student services to ensure compliance with federal, state and institutional requirements. Expected to function independently, subject to minimal general direction and review.

Minimum Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required

Minimum Required Experience

Three years administrative experience. Prefer two years of experience in a student services

area applying procedures and using technology such as Colleague.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of information technology, ability to learn new software programs and

  • support existing college-supported software such as Colleague.

  • Typing skills required.

  • Excellent written, oral communication skills; and interpersonal skills.

  • Must have excellent analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both college and

external contacts.

  • Working knowledge of higher education processes with emphasis on customer service.

  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to communicate in a courteous, professional, and cooperative manner with

  • staff and students, and to maintain patience and understanding in stressful situations.

  • Must be able to handle sensitive matters and be detailed oriented.

  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.

    Salary 1J-Per Salaried Pay Scale

    Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thur 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-11:30

Must be able to work overtime and nonstandard CTC hours as needed.
