Citizens Senior Facility Manager in Johnston, Rhode Island

Description

As the Senior Facility Manager for Back Offices, within Real Estate Operations, you will have the responsibility for all efforts to execute and deliver Facilities Management and Repairs and Maintenance for designated office buildings in a geographical region within the Citizens Bank US-based properties.

In this role you will coordinate colleague and business requested work orders utilizing the FAMIS 360 Work Order program, ensuring that your team members complete work in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing emergency and non-emergency service requests.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Directly manage, provide coordination and direction to Maintenance Technicians and Janitorial Technicians, along with external vendors

  • Provide comprehensive facilities repairs, maintenance, and janitorial support, including complete interior and exterior building structure and grounds maintenance

  • Provide superior client service, coordinating communications between your team, upper REO management and Citizens employees located in offices. Build excellent customer relations between REO and all other Citizens internal teams

  • Hiring, training, mentor and develop a team of employees

  • Ensure that your team is utilizing all HSE safety PPE and protocols regarding fleet, tools, and equipment

  • Identify areas for process improvements and work with internal teams for continuous development. Build efficient processes to effectively evaluate real estate needs in a timely manner

  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors to budget accordingly

  • Achieve internal business unit and external client Key Performance Metrics

Requirements:

  • 4 or more years experience managing multiple employees

  • Minimum 7 years hands-on facility management experience, with some project management experience and/or business management within a large corporate environment

  • Working knowledge of site infrastructure and building systems

  • Knowledge of zoning, construction permitting, federal, state and local building codes

  • Excellent customer service skills as well as proven communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated follow-up skills

  • Proven track record to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks to assure successful timely completion of all

  • Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel as the need arises

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree

  • Valid Driver’s License, required

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40+

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, must have 24/7 availability for on-call requests
