JPMorgan Chase Tax Technology - Senior Associate in Jersey City, New Jersey

JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Tax department is a pioneer in the Tax Technology space. Join a dynamic team to support and grow our toolset!

As a Tax Technology Senior Associate within JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Tax department, you will help support and identify best practices in the use of our third-party tax accounting software - OneSource Tax Provision. You will liaise with internal IT staff on various software solutions, as well as help build solutions in Alteryx, Python, Tableau and other similar Intelligent Solution Tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage Information / Application Owner of OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) software

  • Design solutions within OTP to ensure changing tax accounting issues are addressed

  • Support existing "plug in reports" within OTP and design new reports as needed

  • Plan upgrades with vendor including testing

  • Primary relationship manager with OTP vendor

  • Liaise with internal IT on issues that may arise with respect to internally developed tax software

  • Identify process improvements needed in department and best ways to address them

  • Help build solutions using tools like Alteryx, Python, Tableau

  • Demonstrate improvements and/or provide training to constituents within Corporate Tax

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Thorough knowledge of OneSource Tax Provision

  • Experience designing Intelligent Solutions (Alteryx, Tableau, Python) for a tax function.

  • Strong working knowledge of tax concepts (like book tax differences, current/deferred tax accruals)

  • Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Current or past Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred, but not required.

  • 3+ years experience

Base Pay/Salary

Jersey City,NJ $99,800.00 - $135,000.00 / year
