Job Summary: The product repair technician will perform a wide variety of technical duties to troubleshoot and repair complex and/or mechanical products that have been returned to the company for repair. The technician is responsible for setting up, adjusting and operating test equipment to determine the nature of the problem. You will perform necessary replacement of components, modules, parts, and circuit boards. This position also performs calibration and maintenance on products and equipment, tests product and equipment to ensure operation and compliance with specifications. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Three months experience repairing any type of mechanical product Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading basic blueprints and interpreting basic drawings and schematics Experience maintaining equipment or performing small engine repair or diagnostics Demonstrated knowledge in OSHA and safety regulations Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to effectively communicate with others Ability to identify problems and implement solutions Ability to prioritize daily and weekly work assignments as needed Knowledge of basic PC functions including using ERP business systems, Outlook, Excel and Word Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to very warm depending on season.
