Job Summary and Qualifications

The Float Pool Cardiac Cath Lab Technician, under the supervision of the Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of Cardiovascular Services, is responsible for performing the daily operations for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cardiovascular Technician is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, for scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cases and hemodynamic monitoring. Follows established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist, or credentialed invasive radiologist.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required. Must be RCIS registered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International

• Cardiovascular Technician (CVT) certification required
