Job Description

:

Perform various semi-complex assignments to include testing of HVAC units, Hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies, assemblies, evaluation, testing, repair, qualification, troubleshooting and occasional training and integration in support of manufacturing activity. Be able to read and use, gauges (analog and digital), DAC systems, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, X-Y recorders, transducers and other related equipment. Records test results on data forms using moderately complex electrical equipment and flow measurement devices.

Required Skills

:

Education and Experience: High school Diploma or GED. One year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent; and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training. Language skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and safety procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to communicate in English. Must be able to fill out a test and a quality MRB report. Must have ability to follow relatively complex written instructions. Ability to train others. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
