Description Summary: We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer III to join a well-known successful company in California. This senior role within the Network Engineering team focuses on designing, implementing, and managing advanced network infrastructure. This is a 100% onsite position based in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of WAN, LAN, and WLAN across all locations. Architect and deploy SD-WAN solutions (ideally VeloCloud) to enhance network performance. Serve as top-level support for complex network issues, providing guidance to the team. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced problems involving firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless systems. Manage Palo Alto firewalls to ensure robust network security and compliance. Develop and enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement corrective actions. Drive strategic network initiatives, including upgrades and new technology deployments. Mentor entry level and mid-level engineers, fostering detail oriented growth and technical skills. Create training programs and share best practices to improve team proficiency. Requirements 7+ years of enterprise-level networking experience. Expertise in Cisco routers and Juniper switches. Proficient in architecting and implementing wireless networks and SD-WAN (preferably VeloCloud). Experience with Palo Alto firewalls. Proven ability to lead complex network projects.
