Our client is seeking a Material Management Technician for the production team at a new facility for commercial-scale manufacturing of sterile therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.

Schedule

  • M-F

  • 1 st shift

Pay

  • $20-27/hr

Key Tasks:

  • Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using specialized software systems. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and proper stock levels.

  • Procurement:Collaborate with suppliers to source materials, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery. Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • Logistics Coordination:Coordinate the transportation and distribution of materials to various locations. Plan and optimize shipping schedules to minimize costs and ensure efficient delivery.

  • Quality Control:Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications. Work closely with quality assurance teams to resolve any issues related to material defects or discrepancies.

  • Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain documentation such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping records. Generate reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and logistics performance as needed.

  • Compliance:Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to material handling and storage.

  • Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, warehouse, and quality assurance to support operational goals and initiatives.

Experience/Education:

  • Degree or certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

  • Must have previously worked in manufacturing or an industrial environment
