Southern Ute Tribe Behavioral Health Manager in Ignacio, Colorado

POSITION: Behavioral Health Manager

DUTIES: The Behavioral Health Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing the behavioral health program for the Southern Ute Health Center. In addition, the incumbent oversees the program contract requirements, program development, resource management, employee supervision and training and provides direct clinical client services to eligible members in the community. This position serves as the Supervisor for mental health services provided to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and group

REQUIREMENTS: Be a licensed Psychologist by the Colorado Board of Psychology Examiners or other appropriate licensing board. Have 6 years of professional counseling experience in a mental health setting including 2 years of management or team lead experience (post-Doctoral training/experience can be inclusive). Have experience in the development and administration of budgets. Have experience effectively handling crisis intervention situations. Posses a basic understanding of Grants and Contracts through the federal government or other agencies. Have general knowledge of available resources and organizations affiliated with behavioral health Services. Have computer experience in software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Have a valid Driver's license for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal Vehicle Insurance Policy. Pass a thorough criminal history background check, fingerprint check, and pre-employment drug test.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience working with Native American Indian Tribes. Obtaining licensure as a Psychologist by the Colorado Board of Psychology Examiners if not already licensed by the board.

WAGES: Pay range starts at $114,968.00/year.

SHIFTS: Days.

JOBS SITE: Ignacio, CO.
