This position includes, but is not limited to, .7 FTE direct patient care; staffing, mentoring, and program development in multiple rehab disciplines (Cardiac Rehab, OT, PT, Speech), outcome/competency assessment, compliance with regulatory standards and participating in process improvements to advance patient care outcomes and satisfaction. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor will demonstrate strong organizational and computer skills to supervise multiple projects at the same time and communicate timely, clearly and in a professional manner with staff, patients, physicians and other internal/external customers across the HealthPartners enterprise. The supervisor will demonstrate skills in listening, conflict management, system problem solving, decision-making and process improvement. As a therapist, supervisor will practice in compliance with professional standards, best practice guidelines, and professional code of ethics in a growing outpatient orthopedic clinic. Candidates must be licensed to practice Physical Therapy in MN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Supervisory experience is preferred. FTE is full-time. Hutchinson Health is a 65-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital located 50 miles West of Minneapolis in a beautiful community of 14,000 on the Crow River. We are a regional health care center and employ over 650 employees. Our Rehab team is composed of 22 staff in Cardiac Rehab, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Lead/Coordinate daily workflow across multiple disciplines within Rehab including proactive monitoring and adjusting staffing based on work requirements and volumes and assisting Rehab staff with questions and issues that arise. Includes active coaching and mentoring of direct reports. Communicate, coordinate, and represent broader Hutchinson work groups on teams locally as well as across the greater system regarding best practice, alignment initiatives, and workflows. Requires the ability to modify communication and teaching styles. Research, facilitate, and implement best practice, growth of programs/services, quality standards, processes, and/or systems across multiple disciplines within Rehab. Identify and work to resolve issues related to the safety, security and efficiency of systems, equipment, and supplies essential for customer service/care within Rehab and assure compliance with accrediting/regulatory agencies across multiple disciplines. Acts as the EPIC superuser and orients/retrains all staff on current processes, as well as audits ongoing compliance and competence. Leads/Coordinate all students and observers for all Rehab disciplines. Ensures clinic policies and procedures are current and communicated amongst staff. Actively manage and make recommendations regarding the rehab budget and goals. Maintains clinical skills, setting an example of excellence in Rehabilitation Services.
