JOB SUMMARY
Intervention Delivery Instructs and leads interventions, develops and modifies interventions. Provides intervention to patient as deemed appropriate. Reviews patient chart for contraindications/precautions for yoga intervention. Participates with scheduling patients for their intervention classes and ensures compliance.
Data Collection Collect questionnaires from patients at multiple time points and record and download intervention classes for quality control measures. Conducts follow-up phone calls of participants and motivate practice as well as assess barriers to practice, using motivational interviewing techniques.
Participant Safety Prepares goals and objectives based on evaluation and assessment, maintains equipment and supplies in a clean, operable and safe manner, and follows institutional infection control. Develop yoga and meditation intervention programs for multiple patients.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education : Master's Level Degree
Certification : None
Preferred Certification : Yoga Instructors Course (YIC) and Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (sVYASA)
Experience: Three years of experience teaching the intervention specialty.
Preferred Experience : Research-related experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
