Job Summary:

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking to recruit a cardiothoracic surgeon for an employment opportunity to the north Houston suburb community of Kingwood. Candidate would be joining a team of supportive and collaborative providers that take a team approach to coverage and care of their patients. The incoming cardiothoracic surgeon would be offered a facility medical director opportunity.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be board certified in thoracic surgery.

• Interest in doing both cardiac and thoracic procedures.

• Robotics experience in thoracic procedures is required.

• Must be capable of doing complex cases in independent setting, and capable of doing 200 - 300 hearts a year in a Level 2 trauma program.

• Five (5) years post-fellowship experience is strongly preferred.

• Must be able to obtain or maintain an active Texas license in good standing.
