Job Position: Administrator for Treasury/Cash Management

Job Overview:

Our client in Houston is looking for an Administrator for Treasury on a long term contract. The Administrator for Treasury/Cash Management will undertake a range of administrative responsibilities that fall under treasury and finance functions. This role is pivotal in managing daily cash flows, overseeing debt portfolio, streamlining investment management, handling retirement and benefit finance, and implementing banking services. The incumbent will actively collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient financial operations and contribute towards the financial stability of the organization.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree is required in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other related field from a recognized public or private institution.

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar financial and treasury role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and business finance.

• Familiarity with reporting specifications and guidelines.

• Proficiency in cash management practices.

• Experiences in debt portfolio analysis and management.

• Comprehensive knowledge of treasury operations, banking norms and regulations.

• Understanding of investment management and finance related to pension and benefits.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and reliable data.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams, stakeholders and consultants to devise solutions and plans, and execute them efficiently.

• Skilled in independent work, effective time-management, prioritizing tasks, and handling multiple assignments simultaneously.

• Consistent with meeting financial reporting and other important deadlines.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Competence in using Microsoft Office, ERP systems, online banking systems and other relevant software.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide administrative support within treasury and financing tasks.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions involving cash, investment, and debt.

• Contribute to the daily cash process and offer reliable cash flow data.

• Support daily cash management activities in adherence to investment policy and the Public Funds Investment Act.

• Assist with continuous cash forecast modeling.

• Perform callbacks to customers to verify banking information for ACH payment processing.

• Review, prepare, and initiate all treasury-related invoices for payment.

• Contribute to research, documentation, and analysis for the annual financial audit.

• Assess all banking and treasury products.

• Provide support in the preparation of treasury-related RFPs.
