Description

SAIC is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer in Honolulu, HI to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Task Order (TO) to plan and execute modeling and simulation systems development projects, as well as, design and develop simulation systems and modeling of simulation objects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform analysis and apply appropriate scientific and engineering processes and modeling techniques to the life-cycle development of systems

• Perform analysis and trade-off studies related to operational issues and reviewing test plans to ensure MOEs address operational requirements using modeling and simulation tools and techniques

• Review plans for system integration, operation, and maintenance and assist in developing training for operational personnel.

• Employ data-analytic methodologies and data science modeling, data engineering, algorithms, and other techniques and tools to identify trends, make future projections, and incorporate insights into intelligence, operations, logistics, and other products.

• Utilize Intelligence Community databases and tools and shall manage information in accordance with regulations governing intelligence data.

• Employ mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, ML, network science, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, data warehousing, data compression, data protection, and/or other scientific techniques.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors and five (5)+ years’ of experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
