SAIC Forward Deployment Support in HONOLULU, Hawaii

Description

We are seeking Forward Deployment Support (Life) at all levels of experience (Junior thru Senior and SME) to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Task Order (TO). We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals with a broad range of intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics solutions on an enterprise scale to advance technical capabilities and maximize the effectiveness of USARPAC programs, operations, and partnerships throughout the USARPAC Area of Responsibility (AOR)

These positions are contingent upon contract award expected Summer 2024 and will be located in Hawaii.

Provide logistics services for USARPAC soldiers and civilians deployed in the theater. Support reception, staging, onward movement, and integration (RSOI) services. RSOI will involve deploying and employing personnel and equipment into forces postured to support operations.

Duties:

  • Conducting movement and support meetings.

  • Scheduling movement for deployment and redeployment.

  • Conducting RSOI planning to ensure that deploying forces arrive and become operational in the AOR as scheduled.

  • Assisting with the acquisition of local communication devices.

  • Providing language services or cultural resources.

  • Assisting with the acquisition of transportation means.

  • Reception operations include receiving, off-loading, marshaling, and transporting personnel, equipment, and materiel from the strategic and/or intra-theater deployment phase to a sea, air, or surface transportation Port of Disembarkation (POD) to the marshaling area.

  • Staging includes assembling, temporarily holding, and organizing arriving personnel, equipment, and materiel into forces and capabilities, preparing them for onward

movement, tactical operations, or service reintegration.

  • Onward movement is the process of moving forces, sustainment capabilities, and accompanying materiel from reception facilities, marshaling areas, and staging areas to tactical assembly areas and/or operational areas or onward from the POD or other reception areas to the home/demobilization station.

  • Integration is the synchronized transfer of capabilities into an operational commander’s force prior to mission execution or back to the component/service.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Must have an active TS clearance to start work

  • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI

Required Skills:

  • Assisting with the acquisition of transportation means.
