Field Training Specialist – Healthy Member Behaviors

The Field Training Specialist will be a critical role responsible for coordinating and delivering education and training in support of the overall Healthy Member Behavior (“HMB”) strategy in individual markets. This role will require working across multiple workstreams and with key enterprise business partners (Product, Sales, Marketing, Data, Distribution, etc.). The training specialist will have a strong knowledge of the program framework, processes, and benefits and clearly deliver field training through consultations, live and virtual programs and in agency visits, in order to articulate what, why and how HMB integrates into an FRs practice. This individual will work closely with agency leaders, Field Representatives (FRs) and staff to drive program advocacy, adoption and growth, as well as help identify opportunities for evolving and enhancing the overall HMB training strategy.

You are

A dynamic, proactive, relationship-oriented leader with a strong background in delivering training to financial professionals at every level of experience. You have a fundamental understanding of the insurance and financial services industry and can build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders. You can effectively communicate across all levels of leadership and with subject matter experts to understand training needs and advocate appropriate resources. You are a strong communicator and team player who can effectively connect and collaborate with the field both in person and virtually.

You have

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

  • 4+ years experience working in the financial services and/or insurance industry

  • 4+ years experience delivering training to all levels of financial professionals both live and virtually

  • Insurance license preferred and working knowledge of insurance products

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning best practices, training methodologies, and strategic ability to make recommendations to deploy efficient and meaningful training based on program needs

  • Strong relationship management, coaching/consultative and communication skills

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft office and understanding of business technologies

  • High energy, enthusiasm for your work and a desire to travel

You will

  • Build strong partnerships with key HMB program stakeholders

  • Coordinate with HMB program manager and project team as well as business partners in product, marketing, sales, operations, data/IT, legal to understand HMB program framework and training needs and collaborate on field rollout and training strategy

  • Work in partnership with design consultant, marketing, and FR L&D on building and refining training collateral

  • Deliver training for phased HMB program rollout leveraging multiple platforms to consist of field webinars, live and virtual in-agency training, and national programs for FRs at all experience levels

  • Consult with FRs and Agency leaders to assess understanding and implementation of program offerings, product knowledge, technology usage and client engagement

  • Work with relevant HMB stakeholders to consistently identify new training approaches, update training collateral and refine modes of delivery as program needs evolve

  • Consistently maintain structured field follow up, tracking and measurement to validate adoption, execution, accountability, and business impact

  • Deliver structured and on demand reporting to leadership and stakeholders

Salary Range

$82,660.00 - $135,805.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
