Title: SharePoint Online Developer (1 Opening) Location:Springfield, IL (Hybrid) Duration:12 Months Description:

We seek a skilled and experienced SharePoint Online Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint, along with experience migrating from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online, and expertise in various related technologies, third-party plugins, workflows, and tools. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, administration, development, and customization, including web parts, workflows, and third-party plugins.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement workflows and forms using SharePoint Designer and PowerApps.
  • Create and manage external and internal content types, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Utilize SharePoint Online search capabilities to optimize content discovery and user experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
  • Perform SharePoint Online administration tasks, including user management, permissions, and site configuration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online solutions, workflows, and integrations.
  • Stay updated on the latest SharePoint Online features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and guidance when needed.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Five to Seven years of SharePoint Developer experience with at least three years of experience with SharePoint Online development and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, administration, and development best practices.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, PowerApps, and Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Flow).
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CAML.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft certifications in SharePoint or related technologies (optional but preferred).
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development (preferred).
