Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial components such as motors, variable AC drives, PLC’s, servos, sensors and switches.

• Preventive Maintenance of facilities and equipment on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, addressing potential issues before they escalate.

• Apply deep understanding of troubleshooting to diagnose and repair problems in complex precision electromechanical machinery.

• Schedule and interface with 3rd party vendors as required.

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical and electronic circuits for various components of a high-precision manufacturing facility including, but not limited to: building management and control systems, CNC and support equipment, telephone and computer network equipment.

• Assist with mechanical repairs as required including, but not limited to troubleshooting systems and general mechanical repairs

  We are looking for candidates who:

• Have 3 or more years of experience as an electrical maintenance technician or field service engineer

• Can demonstrate experience diagnosing and trouble shooting electrical circuits in manufacturing equipment. (Experience in repair or operation of CNC machine tools is a plus)

• Have experience with PLC programing and troubleshooting including ladder logic

• Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, ladder and schematic diagrams and general instructions to plan and layout test and repair procedures.

• Have knowledge of standard safety regulations.

• Can troubleshoot and implement board-level repairs.

• Have excellent communication, teamwork skills, high attention to detail and are organized.

• Maintain a valid drivers license.

• Can lift 50 pounds intermittently . This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during the shift.

• Are able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.

  Education and Qualifications:

• Journeyman or higher electrical license

• GED or High School Diploma
