Summary: The N1 (Night Shift One) Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing up to 25 equipment technicians in Fab, Fab Finish and Test, and responsible for delivering the tool availability required for Operations to meet their production schedule. The main duties will be to direct the efforts of the equipment maintenance group by setting and communicating priorities and directing all maintenance activity. The Maintenance Supervisor and Production Supervisors partner as a team to manage all aspects of the shift. Specific Applicable Toolsets Photolithography (steppers, tracks), HDP Etchers, Sputter PVD, Electroplating, Implant, CVD,Wet Etch, Ash, Backend Finish Processes, Metrology, Laser Dicing, Backside Grind, Proprietary Lift-Off Equipment, metal Evaporators, and more Candidate must be comfortable managing both brand new equipment and legacy machines Work Schedule -N1 works every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights with alternating Saturday nights (4 on, 3 off; 3 on, 4 off) -The shift starts at 6:30pm (passdown with dayshift) and ends at 6:30 in the morning -At times the supervisor will be asked to stay later (as needed) to communicate and coordinate with engineering who work monday through friday -Overtime on off days is extremely rare -The supervisor must be able to attend one weekly staff meeting on Wednesday morning, but virtual attendance is acceptable (Teams) Qualifications: -Being able to organize, lead and facilitate cross functional project teams is a must. -Candidate must possess the ability to develop and manage to equipment performance metrics including M-Ratio, MTTF & GTG times, Availability & Utilization and cycle time to identify trends in tool performance and drive improvement. -We are looking for highly motivated professionals with experience managing or leading a team of technicians in a Fab environment. -BS degree (preferred) in Engineering or Management/Business coupled with industry experience is ideal. Other combinations of experience and education will be considered. -Equipment Engineering experience is a plus -Previous hands-on experience as a technician is a plus -Experience in Semiconductor maintenance a strong plus -The applicant\'s resume should reflect experience dealing with changing goals, meeting objectives, enforcing company policies, and dealing with all the issues that come with managing employees. -This is a leadership position, and the ability to communicate is essential. The candidate should be a confident public speaker and be able to create and deliver presentations at a professional level. -Knowledge and understanding of algebra, statistics (SPC) and MS Excel & PowerPoint is required. The interview will be a behavioral in nature, and the candidate will be asked to tell us from past experience how they handled various situations, what they learned from those past experiences, and how they would approach the same issues in this role.
