Job Description

In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future with an anticipated target of Jan 1, 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the management, strategy, implementation, and ongoing operations of information technology solutions across the company.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements and align technology solutions with business goals.

  • Develops and executes a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.

  • Establishes and leads in directing IT security and governance policies, standards, and procedures for the use of technology. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing IT risk, and promoting best practices in IT operations and security.

  • Identifies emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to optimize our technology architecture and support future growth and continued expansion as a centralized IT services organization for all BUs/functions.

  • Develops and manages the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in an Information Technology leadership role overseeing global teams.

  • Experience deploying enterprise applications and standing up new IT infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including risk assessment, threat mitigation, and compliance frameworks.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
