Job Description

Torch Technologies is currently seeking aNetwork Administrator Subject Matter Expertto support the Aerospace Dominance Enabler Division (AFLCMC/HBZ)at Hill AFB in Ogden Utah. HBZ functions as the Air Force's technical, acquisition and sustainment experts providing unique and comprehensive support to the warfighter. The ADE Division is responsible for a vast array of USAF systems to include Electronic Warfare, Range Systems, Range Instrumentation, Air Combat Training and Aircrew Readiness, Command and Control Systems, Advanced Radar Threat Systems, Combat Survivor Evader Locator, P5 Combat Training Systems, Black Switch and Legacy Voice Systems. Furthermore, the ADE Division provides support to depot level sustainment and maintenance efforts, FMS, U.S. Army, Navy, Pacific Air Forces, Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), and Air Education and Training Command (AETC) on a continuous basis. This position requires a highly motivated individual with network administration experience to include the below essential duties: Provide support on system administration of network, web, and/or communication systems, including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, i.e., Unclassified /Classified), to include but not limited to network security on unclassified and classified systems, i.e., command and control systems. Provides a venue for classified communications for product teams to outline sensitive requirements, designs, shortfalls, and systems specific to the customer and the warfighter. Assist with assessment, development, implementation, management, maintenance, and administration of the Local Area Network (LAN), Electronic Messaging Service, Telecommunications Infrastructure (phones, voicemail, videoconferencing), and other Government-required information techno Assist with development of web-based Information Technology Equipment (ITE) Management, Portal Applications, and other custom Government software applications. Perform Virtual Machine Ware (VM Ware) server administration, including high availability server solutions. Provide help desk management functions, to include serving as a customer support specialist for technology networks, computer capabilities, managing IT trouble tickets, and assisting with customer access to Continuous Acquisition and Life-Cycle Support applications, e.g., System Program Office Management Information System, ABSS, CAS, Contractor Performance Assessment Report System (CPARs), Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistic Support, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control Systems, Defense Security Assistance Management System), and other future spiral developments or custom standardized Government Assist with installation of Communications cabling services to include installation of Cat 5 Cabling, Fiber cable installation, terminal ends, etc. Develop and produce documentation and artifacts required to certify unclassified and classified network systems; maintain, manage, and assist with development of documentation required for DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) or Risk Mana ement Framework (RMF) certification for Unclassified, Classified, and higher infrastructure. Review proposed new computer systems, networks, and commercial software designs for potential security risks, as well as user interface. Resolve integration issues related to the implementation of new systems with the existing infrastructure and monitoring new or emerging technologies and software to assist in the identification of the most effective approach or methodology to be applied to the Division computer systems & network. Advise government decision makers on computer systems' security shortfalls and areas needing improvement or modification. Perform systems analysis of project tracking systems. Provide support of IT and/or communications systems/functions managed and maintained by the Branch and Division - network infrastructure, wireless systems, and voice systems. Plan, coordinate, install government furnish computers systems, and continuously analyzes IT system design, hardware, and software. Develop, recommend, and install solutions and upgrades to ensure availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of all components of the Branch and Division's computers and network. Conduct in-depth analyses of system usage, user complaints, traffic interruptions, hardware and software capabilities, and other relevant factors as well as interface with Air Force Networks
