Responsibilities:

  • Apply a sophisticated knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and operations quality principles in the assigned operations.

  • Lead teams from various departments in quality/compliance improvement activities.

  • Facilitate increased quality/compliance knowledge in the assigned area.

  • Act as the main resource and technical subject matter expert in problem-solving, process/method improvement, and ensuring quality and compliance.

  • Direct complex technical and/or organizational problem-solving activities using validated tools.

  • Identify negative trends in quality/compliance and ensure correction of root causes.

  • Review, revise, and write operational documentation.

  • Discuss projects with various members of the Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to review functions of machines and equipment.

  • Make sound judgments and decisions, providing accurate advice on regulatory compliance and work product quality.

Requirements:

  • Four-year BA or BS Degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience required.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering/scientific field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic industry and/or Lean manufacturing principles is preferred.

  • Must be capable of improving systems and processes and investigating related issues.

  • Prior LEAN and/or Six Sigma experience. Six Sigma green or black belt certification preferred.

  • Must meet applicable DEA security clearance requirements.
