ManTech Quality Lead III in Herndon, Virginia

Currently ManTech is seeking a Quality Lead III to join our team in Herndon, VA supporting our growing Defense Sector and Marine Corps programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Quality Lead III leads the Quality Management Organization (QMO) Team and serves as management representative for quality for the NSIN Maverick program.

  • They create and submit the Strategic Plan for Quality Management System (QMS) activities.

  • They create and submit annual quality objectives and obtain approval for new major quality initiatives to include pursuing new certifications and registrations.

  • They coordinate with Maverick Program leadership on QMA implementation and monitoring activities, leading QMS implementation effort for new and existing projects, and leading external audit and appraisal efforts.

  • They maintain a customer service approach for quality implementation.

  • They establish and enforce quality standards and processes for the Mission Essential Services Plan (MESP) implementation.

  • They develop and submit the QMO Annual Operating Plan.

  • They ensure organizational audits meet the annual quality objective.

  • They draft and maintain a list of QMO services available to the Maverick Program and projects.

  • They ensure the QMO Team is adequately trained to perform their assigned duties.

  • They create the QMO Operations and Process Improvement Plan.

  • They coordinate with the Program Manager and the program's Continual Improvement Manager for quality oversight of program activities.

  • The Quality Lead III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and four (9) years of relevant work experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in conducting Quality Management activities for complex projects.

  • Experience leading a team of Quality Management professionals.

Security Clearance:

  • Active Top-Secret Security Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
