A Northeast Oregon based center pivot contractor is looking for a Sales Person/Project Manager to join a respected and growing company. The person will join a company with a well established client base and be tasked with serving the existing clients while looking for growth opportunities. Duties o Work with existing client base to sell Valley center pivot irrigation systems, pump systems, piping and sprinkler systems; o Build new customer base through sales appointments and cold calls; o Design center pivot systems using Valley software and obtain quotes from subcontractors for other scopes of work to prepare estimates for clients; o Order materials and work with manufacturers and subcontractors; o Project management of awarded jobs & #61607; Ordering of materials & #61607; Awarding and issuing subcontracts & #61607; Scheduling of work in an organized manner & #61607; Work with company crews and service technicians to have the systems built and running properly & #61607; Final inspection and walk through & #61607; Turnover to customer Job requirements o Able to work hours necessary to provide services of sales and project management to multiple projects at one time while estimating and planning new projects o Able to lift 30+ pounds o Climb ladders for inspection of systems or trouble shooting of existing systems o Work outside in heat and cold temperature. Desired Qualifications: o 3 plus years\' experience in the center pivot or agriculture construction field or sales; o Knowledge of electrical and water systems; o Knowledge of Microsoft, GPS and mapping software; o Excellent communication and organizational skills; o Ability to multitask and work independently. License/Certification: o Driver\'s License (Required); o Electrical licenses a plus. Location: o Main office location is in Hermiston, Oregon; o Service area is Northeast Oregon and Southwest Washington; o Work is done in the main office with sales calls in service area.
