Description Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a well-respected company. The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. What you get to do every day

• Review and maintain budgeting and forecasting models

• Develop and monitor an organizational structure in order to accomplish department goals and objectives

• Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

• Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

• Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff

• Manage the operating procedures of the department, including short- and long-range goals, objectives, and policies- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

• Manage the composition of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

• Manage daily operations of the finance and accounting department

• Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions

• Take ownership of insurance and risk management

• Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans

• Supervise all financial reporting preparation

• Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions Requirements - 10+ years of finance and accounting experience

• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

• Experience with multiple accounting and financial reporting systems

• Prior experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• MBA or CPA is preferred

• High analytical and extremely detailed
