Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Are you a hospitalist who enjoys teaching? If so, don’t miss out on this academic hospitalist opportunity with Dignity Health Medical Group of Nevada! Affiliated with St. Rose Dominican healthcare system in Las Vegas, our group and hospital are committed to providing excellent and personalized care for patients. We currently seek full-time BC academic hospitalist physicians (internal medicine or family medicine) to join our inpatient care team at our community teaching hospital in Las Vegas.

• Procedures including central lines and intubations (these skills are preferred, but not required)

• 7 on/7 off 12-hour shifts

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of IM or FM hospitalist practice experience strongly preferred

• Background in academic medicine and teaching medical students/residents highly desired

• Must be board certified

• Successful completion of Residency program

• Local applicants preferred, but not required

• Non-local applicants with an active and unrestricted NV medical license also preferred

• Must have a demonstrated track record of providing high quality and efficient patient care

• Must have demonstrated success from within a metrics driven program

• Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO)

• State of Nevada licensed physician, or the ability to obtain a Nevada medical license

• Membership in appropriate professional associations and societies; DEA = Drug Enforcement Administrator certificate; LIC CSL = Nevada State Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance license; CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR; Credentialed Dignity Health Medical Group Network completed within 120 days of hire.

• Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff.

Pay Range

$130.01 - $150.82/hour)
