The Montana Department of Revenue administers almost 40 state taxes, property appraisals, alcoholic beverage laws, cannabis laws, and unclaimed property for the state of Montana. The Technology Services Division is an internal support division that providesapplication development, quality assurance and technical operations (network and desktop) services to all otherDepartment of Revenue divisions in meeting their goals and objectives of providing services to the State of Montana and its citizens. Duties include analyze and design customized technology systems to meet departmental needs, budgetary requirements, and user ability. The incumbent is responsible for the evaluation and recommendation for technical development of information systems and has primary responsibility for project management, systems analysis, systems design, maintenance, data quality, technical assistance, and problem resolution relative to technology applications on any platform.
