DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will serve in a a supervisory role and oversee the work of a team of Security Officer 1s. As a security officer, you will be responsible for performing security duties necessary for the protection of those in attendance at the Farm Show Complex, and Commonwealth personnel and property. Duties include directing traffic, collecting parking fees, greeting and assisting visitors, and patrolling the Complex and parking areas during the busy show season.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 AM, Friday - Tuesday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Security Officer 1; or Any equivalent combination of experience or training which provides the knowledges, skills, and abilities required to provide supervisory security services.

Special Requirements:

This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
