Reference #: 4657404 THE POSITION The Public Safety IT Delivery Center (PSITDC), Project Management Office is seeking a highly motivated professional with a keen eye for detail. As a Project Manager 1 you will have the opportunity to perform professional and administrative work as you plan, direct, control, and implement large and complex information technology. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will support the client agencies such as PA State Police (PSP), Department of Corrections (DOC), PA Board of Probation and Parole (PBPP), Office of Victim Advocate, Sex Offender Assessment Board, Firearms Education and Training Commission, PA Justice Network, and the PA Commission of Crime and Delinquency.

Work involves accountability for managing projects from inception through implementation following PSITDC project management methodology. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and of sufficient quality to meet the satisfaction of the project's sponsor, stakeholders, and end-user clientele. Projects managed can range from custom development, procurement of hardware/software rollouts, COTS procurement and modification, or enhancements. Projects typically involve interfaces with other systems or agencies. You may also have the opportunity to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage work efforts across multiple teams.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Business Analyst 3; or Two years of experience in leading IT systems development or implementation projects and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of experience in leading IT systems development or implementation projects.

Additional Requirements: You must have the ability to effectively communicate. You must have the ability to plan strategically. You must have the ability to remain organized when working on multiple tasks and projects. You must have the ability to effectively manage time.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
