job summary:

Will offer per diem and expenses. Large utility is looking for a Gas Construction Manager in Hamilton Township, MI. The Gas Construction Manager oversees and ensures the safety, scope, cost, and schedule of gas facility construction projects, coordinating with project teams, managing conflicts, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The schedule is 4 days on 4 days off from 6pm to 6am. Weekly 48 hours, anything over 40 is OT eligible. This is a contract position estimated to last 6 months, possible extension, possible temp to perm. Apply Now!

responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage safety, scope, cost, and schedule during construction.

  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings focusing on safety.

  • Communicate schedule and construction recommendations to the Project Manager (PM).

  • Resolve material, construction, and scheduling conflicts.

  • Develop punch lists and obtain sign-off from the Field Leader (FL).

  • Assist PM in providing O&M manuals and asset lists to responsible parties.

  • Ensure submission of as-built redline drawings to Engineering.

Skills:

  • Experience in gas facilities construction.

  • Knowledge of field operations.

  • Knowledge of equipment operations.

  • Managing and measuring performance.

  • Negotiation.

  • Organization and planning.

Desired Skills:

  • 2-5+ years of drilling experience with open hole Coil Tubing rigs.

  • 2-5+ years of drilling experience with top hole Kelly rigs.

  • Experience with MIOSHA Part 57.

  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification.

Education: Bachelor's degree or applicable experience.
