JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Sr Manager-Assistant Controller will be responsible for directing teams that provide accounting and finance services in support of the organization's business objectives. This role will lead managers who oversee the accounting close process, account reconciliations, monthly analysis, forecasting as well as the annual budgeting process for assigned areas of responsibility. The Finance Sr Manager-Assistant Controller will lead business transaction processing teams in areas such as customer financing, banking operations, disbursements and property, plant and equipment in compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Partner with internal and external customers to lead and grow business.

  • Direct analysis in key business areas and prepare monthly results for management.

  • Develop connections with internal and external customers on business issues that impact financial projections.

  • Develop the team's knowledge of the business to help identify and drive efficiency opportunities.

  • Partner with management in planning, measuring and reporting on performance of key business areas and identification of opportunities to improve profitability through pricing or cost efficiency.

  • Ensure that processes and procedures are in place and operating effectively for compliance with the Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

  • Partner with internal and external audit partners to oversee engagement.

  • Recruit, develop and retain top talent.

  • Provide financial analysis support for strategic planning, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, due diligence, business process optimization, and special projects.

  • Drive continuous improvement activities to increase the effectiveness of financial processes and supporting information systems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.

  • Three (3) or more years of managerial/supervisory experience.

  • Ability to travel 10%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Public accounting or public company focused on technical accounting experience.

  • Success in leading others in a fast pace work environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of various financial regulations (ie. GAAP, international laws).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
