This position is for a Support Care Professional III with a company in Harrison County.

Work Schedule:  A Shift 6:00AM-2:30PM B Shift 2:00PM-10:30PM C Shift 10:00PM-6:30AM

Positions require that the applicant be available for mandatory overtime when their rotation is up to work mandatory overtime to maintain staff ratios required for safety.

Annual Salary: $ 29,325.61

Duties and Responsibilities: This is paraprofessional work to provide care and support for adolescents receiving mental health treatment in a residential setting.  Staff provide supervision and assist residents with performance of daily activities including but not limited to hygiene, physical care, laundry, housekeeping, education, and development of social skills; document resident behavior and progress towards goals; direct and participate in recreational and social activities for residents; accompany residents to activities and programs on and off campus; and model appropriate behavior and communication at all times.

Special Qualifications: The applicant should possess the ability to develop, direct, and participate in therapeutic recreational activities to include recreation, physical fitness, and creative arts. Psychology, social science, or related educational background is preferred.

Education and Experience: (Support Care Professional III) Requires 30 hours of successful college or university earned credits and 2 years of experience.
