Job Details Job Location Columbus, OH 43222 - VGS, Inc - Columbus, OH Education Level HS Diploma/GED   Salary Range $14.00 - $14.00 Hourly Job Shift Other - see details in job posting Description Location: Twin Valley Behavioral Health Shift: Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 4:00pm Status: Nonexempt Driver provides transportation of individuals. Drives a non-CDL rated vehicle to transport individual to and from the Twin Valley contract site in a State of Ohio vehicle. Responsible for safely transporting individual to and from services and appointments as directed. Complete daily trip check prior to each route. Note all service needs to immediate Supervisor Assists passengers on and off the vehicle (as needed) and work with staff who may be assisting to load and unload passengers For wheelchair bound passengers, driver will secure the wheelchair to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchair during trip according to standards outlined in trainings. Must know advance trip destination by routing / charting maps. Must follow designated route unless change is reported to immediate Supervisor Must report to immediate supervisor or other directed contact via provided contact information any emergencies, behavioral concerns or disruptions of service. Must maintain the highest level of customer service with riders at all times. Must remove all trash and sweep (as needed) vehicle at the end of each day. Maximize gasoline usage by following fixed routes. Responsible for parking & securing vehicle at the close of business. Must record mileage and destination information as directed by Twin Valley Responsible to immediately report to immediate Supervisor or directed contact any unusual behavior of passengers or with regards to vehicle, and follow mandatory reporting guidelines. Regular attendance is a requirement of the position. Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment Maintains a positive work atmosphere by exemplifying and communicating in a positive/professional manner. Qualifications High school education and or GED plus two years experience driving; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have 2 points or less on driver's license. Must have active driver's license Must be COVID-19 vaccinated, willing to receive TB test upon hire and annual flu vaccine.
