Job Title: Material Handler Forklift

Job Description

The material handler will perform one of two main duties on a daily basis: picking orders on a sit-down forklift or aisle master (sit-down), sometimes on foot, OR loading trucks with a sit-down forklift or pallet jack. The product will be palletized or in totes 95% of the time, but there are some loose picks of the 60lb bags that are needed. Candidates will spend some time on the CPU at times doing inventory or tracking orders.

Other duties include:

• Helping clean the facility

• Helping run inventory to ensure that empty locations are correct or full location inventory is correct

• Helping tape pick location labels or safety aisles

Required Skills

• warehouse experience needed

• at least 1 year of experience on sit-down forklift

• Experience with WMS system

• Experience shipping and receiving

Shift & Pay

• Shift: 1st 8 AM – 4:30 PM (little to no OT)

• $18.50

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greenwood, Indiana.

Work Environment

The warehouse is not temperature controlled but was very cool despite being 90 degrees during the tour. The manager was wearing long sleeves. It is a small warehouse with only about 6 people on site and 6-7 in the office.
