Mobile Communications America Director, Security Operations (Commercial / Public Safety) in Greenville, South Carolina

The Director, Security Operations - East will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Security division’s operations in the eastern United States, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, and driving strategic growth. This role requires a deep understanding of various security solutions, including video surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, and physical security measures.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the company's objectives and industry best practices.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high levels of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction in installation and service activities.

  • Lead a team of security professionals, including general managers, project managers, and technicians, to ensure the effectiveness of security operations.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

  • Ensure the division consistently builds and maintains strong relationships with customers by displaying genuine care and concern, solving problems, and delivering service excellence in alignment with the company's “Service First” value.

  • Manage the overarching budget and strategically drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.

  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet industry standards and customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with the sales team, providing operational insights and support to drive sales growth and new customer accounts.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Manage supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery activities.

  • Prepare and present financial and status reports to senior management.

  • Promote the effective use of business and system processes to ensure streamlined operations and optimal performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.

  • Strong knowledge of security technologies and solutions, including video surveillance systems, access control, alarm systems, and physical security measures.

  • Experience managing security operations in a complex and dynamic environment, preferably in the commercial security sector.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are highly desirable.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
