What you will do

The Global Headquarters for Volvo Financial Services is seeking a Marketing Communication Manager to develop content, lead and coordinate marketing and communication activities and projects, which promote and support the strategy and business within the Volvo Financial Services Global HQ team.

As a Marketing Communication Manager, you will be responsible for implementing marketing initiatives, integrated with the product brands VFS supports, to secure consistent content across a variety of channels in order to drive VFS’ strategic and commercial goals and strengthen the VFS identity and reputation with colleagues, dealers and end customers in all markets where VFS operates.

Your starting point will be to, together with your colleagues at VFS and in the broad cross-functional network at the Volvo Group, take responsibilities in the following areas:

· Participates in developing and executing marketing and communication plans

· Secures integration of VFS in the Business Area marketing plans

· Develops marketing kits to promote current and new product offers across multiple markets

· Manages various marketing activities and content, depending on the yearly plans: integration in events/exhibitions, develops communication tools

· Manage VFS digital asset library; includes existing images and videos, and coordinate photo/video shoots for new imagery

· Develops and updates VFS marketing and brand guidelines and maintain content on VFS brand center

· Ensures published content conveys a singular brand identity and consistent brand voice across touch points

· Reviews and approves marketing initiatives and secures compliance of marketing materials and events

· Creates and manages a MarCom network through meetings and best practice sharing

· Acts as the link between markets and VFS Global marketing function on Marketing topics

· Coordinates annual customer and dealer surveys, including trend analysis

· Facilitates marketing and communication (incl. Merchandising) guidelines & approvals (VFS / VT / VCE / RTFS logos, templates, etc.)

· Supports colleagues across all markets and departments with marketing and brand guidance and advice

· Manages VFS commercial naming and domain process and governance in conjunction with all product brand partners and Volvo Group brand management

· Supports and/or leads upon the request of the Director ad hoc project work across a broad range of commercial topics, such as developing integrated CX

· Builds and follows up on the Global HQ Marketing Budget

· Plans and develops all forms of content, e.g. written, illustrative, video, and social media posts; organization, business and leadership messages and Q&As; themes and campaigns, news/stories, events, surveys, advertisements

· Supports the development and maintenance of content on appropriate digital channels

Qualifications likely required to be successful in this role include:

· University degree or equivalent is required, MBA desired.

· Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing experience including brand management

· Minimum of 5 years of experience customer communication

· Financial Services related industry experience helpful.

· Working experience showing fluency in English (oral / written / interpersonal) Other languages a plus.

· Proven experience with excellent written, illustrative, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

· Experience in communications coaching and change communication.

· Exhibitions and Event management/ organizational skills

· Experience with digital marketing and campaigns

· Advanced proofreading and presentation skills

· Demonstrating a high and solid competence level in each of the Volvo Group Leadership Principles

· Computer proficiency – PC hardware/software and all MS Office applications

· Good knowledge of financial services products and services

· Demonstrated analytical and strategic skills including forecasting and planning.

· Travel required occasionally.

· Strong proficiency working with digital communications applications, tools and technologies. Active in today’s digital environment

· Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and project management skills to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced professional environment

· Seasoned in vendor negotiations, agency relations and resource management

· Thrives in a diverse and energetic team environment; effectively communicates with stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach and optimal result

· Innovative, progressive and holistic marketing perspective

· Experience in working with top management and cross-culturally

· Seasoned in Microsoft Office Suite and 365, advance PowerPoint capabilities, collaboration forums and apps, video production/basic editing abilities, image editing, conferencing and chat forums, podcasts, planning and measurement tools, and graphics design applications (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite; In Design, Photoshop, Acrobat)
