Aerotek Quality Technician in Green Cove Springs, Florida

Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing product quality. Your responsibilities include gathering data from the production floor, converting and inputting it into Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, and interpreting blueprints daily. You will be involved in tracking defects, improving quality processes, and performing both first and last piece inspections. Your role extends to monitoring production, auditing check sheets, issuing reject tags when necessary, and ensuring all quality documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Initial peer-to-peer training will cover floor operations and data entry, spanning the first 4 weeks, to fully prepare you for independent work. Additionally, you will engage in creating control plans, performing hourly audits, operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), and maintaining quality assurance tools and areas.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Green Cove Springs, Florida.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a large manufacturing setting which includes office areas for data entry tasks. The environment in the manufacturing area is not fully climate-controlled and may not always be clean, demanding flexibility and adaptability from the candidate.
