Corewell Health Support Services Resource Supervisor in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job Summary

Serves as the supervisor for the Corewell Health West Ambulatory Resource Center. Is accountable for the resource center's performance and metrics. Organizes and directs the operations of the resource center, ensuring quality of services, financial, budgetary and customer service standards are met.

Essential Functions

  • Supervises resource center staff, conduct performance evaluation, initiating counseling conversations and completing corrective action as appropriate.

  • Collaborates with Human Resources on the interviewing and hiring of staff.

  • Partners with managers and other stakeholders on a customer focused process to deliver exceptional experience.

  • Develops strong working relationships with leaders in the organization to understand and support the staffing needs and strategic direction of the ambulatory sites.

  • Manages budget and finances for resource center in a cost-effective manner by assisting the development of the budget; monitoring expenditures; ensuring appropriate purchases and adhering to financial process, policies and guidelines.

  • Provides and communicates ongoing metric reports and program evaluations.

  • Reviews, edit and approves payroll for resource center staff.

Qualifications

  • Required Associate's Degree or equivalent

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent

  • 5 years of relevant experience HR or operations experience and knowledge in medical practices, employment law, contingent staffing and industry trends. Required
