Universal Health Services Nursing Supervisor Nights in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan

Responsibilities

Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108 bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. We are licensed by the State of Michigan, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and we bring more than 45 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for a Nursing Supervisor position.

The Nursing Supervisor is a registered nurse who provides direct care, leadership, direction, and supervision for all nursing care on their shift. The nursing supervisor is the on site administrator during the “off hours” (weekends, holidays, evening and night shifts) providing direction and supervision in all areas of the hospital. The Nursing Supervisor coordinates admissions, discharges, response to emergency codes and overall quality of care for patients.

Hours for this position are Part Time, 10pm to 10am. Includes weekend rotation.

    Qualifications

    Nursing Supervisor Requirements

  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of Michigan.

  • Previous psychiatric nursing experience required

  • Prefers previous experience as a Charge or House Supervisor
